Living social sent me ANOTHER worthless offer. So I finally unsubscribed. And THIS was the one that did it. A third offer for Spray Tanning. Not 1st. Not 2nd. A 3rd. Despite the 1000+ emails (1-2 per day) I’ve received from them in the past 2 years, despite knowledge of what I HAVE clicked on, purchased, shared…they’re still asking my caramel complected ass if I want a Brazil Bronze Custom Spray.

Plot Spoiler Alert: NO.

What I do expect of every single marketer and service provider in 2012 is this: if I give you my data and access to my most precious communication channela (email in this case) you BETTER improve your understanding of who I am over time. Livingsocial and Groupon’s model of “get in the inbox” and spam until I by something is as outdated as billboard media…but way more annoying. So, congrats Livingsocial…you’ve SPAM’d your way right out of my inbox.
